Snow covered Fine Lady statue in Banbury - photographed by Steve Gold Snow covered St Mary's Church Banbury 2007 - photographed by Steve Gold Snow at Banbury Cross 2007 - photographed by Steve Gold

Top: February 2007 - the rare (these days) sight of Banbury blanketed in snow. I was up at 7am to capture these scenes of the Fine Lady, St Mary’s Church, and Banbury Cross.

Bottom: Banbury Cross (left) and the Fine Lady (right) are world famous, because of the nursery rhyme. Another wonderful Banbury landmark is St Mary’s Church (centre) with its 'pepperpot' tower.
