Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool : I love the light in this wonderfully interesting and modern cathedral. Many of the images on show here are imbued with soft blue light that brings a calmness to the interior, whilst the contrast of the blue with the vibrant colours produced by the stained glass has resulted in some fascinating images. My favourite, top right, shows through digital enhancement the ghostlike play of colour on the floor leading to the white marble altar.
